The Thomas Jerome House

I wanted to highlight this amazing charity and pass on their information.  I'm thankful for Americans that work to support and honor our military who have served and sacrificed for the country.  The Thomas Jerome House is a perfect example.
The Thomas Jerome House is an incredible charitable organization started by a friend of mine from college.  As an occupational therapist for the Navy, she works with our wounded service members.  TJH was created after her experience with a soldier, CPT Thomas Jerome Hromisin, who sustained a tramatic brain injury in combat.  The TJH seeks to provide a permanent housing option for service members who suffer from a traumatic brain injury.

Their mission statement:
The Thomas Jerome House seeks to honor the lives of those individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries in the name of freedom and sacrifice to America. It is a community where servicemen with traumatic brain injuries and their assistants, live together as family, respecting the dignity of the human person. Thomas Jerome House is committed to enhancing the quality of their lives by providing them with a sense of purpose and supporting them to maintain an active role in society.

Please read more about them on their website:
