I'm a twenty-something, dance enthusiast, volunteer, blogging novice and Marine spouse originally from the Poconos. I went to school in Scranton (shout out to all The Office Fans) when I met my Marine and my life changed forever. We've been married a little less than 2 years but together over 4. We are currently at our first duty station and enduring our first deployment to Afghanistan. 
Over the past 4 years, with help from my husband's passion and dedication, I’ve fallen in love with our life as a Marine Corps family. Therefore, I am not the kind of military spouse that resents this military lifestyle (hopefully there are not many of them). Although it does get very difficult at times (like right now), I am so proud of and grateful for all our military members and so proud to be a member of this community.
